Tamara Kesenheimer - Registered Animal Health Technologist
Tamara joined the Cold Lake Veterinary Clinic team in September of 2011. She was born and raised on a mixed farm on the outskirts of the Great Sandhills near the farming community of Leader Saskatchewan. After graduation she moved to Saskatoon, where she received her Animal Health Technology Diploma from SIAST-Kelsey Campus in 1994. She was then employed in small animal practice in Edmonton before moving to the Cold Lake area in 2004. Tamara now resides on a small acreage in Cherry Grove with her husband, daughter and son as well as her cat Mitzy and her dog Taco
Sara Livingston - Registered Animal Health Technologist - Low Stress Handling Certified
Sara graduated from the Animal Health Technology program in Vermillion in 2005. She started here in 2012 and now works part time. She has 3 dogs, 2 cat and also keeps a husband and two children around, just for fun! She also loves her chickens and has some 4H cows. She has a passion for dog sport medicine and now has a certification in Canine Rehabilitation along side Dr. Mueller. She has been loving helping
Janessa Jefferson - Registered Animal Health Technologist - 
Janessa started working with us as a student in 2014. She later on graduated as a RAHT from Lakeland Vermilion college in 2015 and has since been part of our team. She enjoys working in a small animal environment as well as working with our doctors on large animal calls. Janessa was born originally from Bonnyville where she was raised on an acreage with horses, and she now lives in Cold Lake with her husband, son, dog, cats and two horses. She is passionate and certified in Fear Free training and low stress handling in and out of the clinic. She is a KPA (Karen Pryor Academy) certified trainer and runs her own company Pawsitive Peaks which you can learn more about from her Facebook page!
Briana Grant - Registered Animal Health Technologist - 
Briana worked at the Cold Lake Vet Clinic while completing her Animal Health Technologist program with Olds College then came to work with us full time again in 2018. Briana spends most of her spare time with her dogs Moose and Ducky. She enjoys working with exotic animals such rabbits, guinea pigs and many more small creatures!
Kacie Duckett - Registered Animal Health Technologist - 
Kacie graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program in Vermilion but originated from the Cold Lake area. After working at the Cold Lake Vet Clinic as a student, we were happy to add her to our team full time in the summer of 2019. She is also proud to advocate Fear Free theories to all four-legged animals that come through our doors!
Meghan Visser - Registered Animal Health Technologist - 
Meghan graduated from the Veterinary Technology program in Ontario and started working with us in February 2021. She lives near Ardmore with her husband and growing farm of horses, chickens and her many many cats, as well as her snake. Meghan's skills and her sense of humour add great value to our team.
Lauren Kelly - Registered Animal Health Technologist - 
Lauren graduated from the Animal Health Technology program from Lakeland college in Vermillion in 2017 and joined our team in 2021. She lives near Bonnyville with her husband and their growing farm of chickens, sheep, and many more. Lauren's contagious sunny personality and technical skills are a great addition to our team
Dakota Vandergaag - Registered Animal Health Technologist
Dakota is our newest registered veterinary technician addition! She graduated from the Animal Health Program in Vermillion in 2019. She lives in Ardmore with her new husband, and her dog and 2 cats. She enjoys hiking, gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is a wonderful addition to our team with her great technical skills and her positivity! She is always there to add a helping hand!
Haylie-Ann LaFrance - Part Time Registered Animal Health Technologist
Haylie-Ann graduated from the Animal Health Technology Program in Vermilion in the spring of 2019, and we welcomed her to the Cold Lake team with open arms in March 2020. Haylie-Ann is currently attending the University of Saskatchewan to become a veterinarian, and will be working here part time in the summer. she enjoys spending time with her dog Paisley.
